i came across this application in facebook today. clicked on it, answered one, two, three..before i get jumbled up, and then realized that 5 boxes are just not enough for me! i had more than 5 already! in a period of..10 years. that makes..one every 2 year? but i change my phone only when i need to!
yes, i do change my phone only when it started giving me problems though. or ‘missing’ – that’s 2 times. so just for old times’ sake, let me run through the list..
First phone
alcatel one touch easy
yess..comel kan. but mine was in beige colour. of course i go for looks for my first phone. ever. hehe. notice the duracell batteries? yes, maknanya, u can also use 2xAA cells in case if the battery pack goes flat when u are out shopping (and tak bawak charger). how convenient! but again, imagine, AA batteries ok, bukannya AAA, 2 ketul pulak tu boleh muat sekali. imagine the size. hehehe
years of usage: 3 years kot, ‘99-’02
sentimental for: being my first phone! and of course the ringtone. i never change the ringtone on this phone, sbb yg lain tak best, and sampai skrg i can remember the tone in my head. heh! the tone was actually annoying, only now i realize it 
reason for dumping: the battery kaputs easily by the second year and at that time, i change the battery on yearly basis. so mcm not economical anymore, baik beli phone baru je.

nokia 3310
this phone was like britney spears in her early years. everyone heart them. although the sound is not of polyphonic yet, and there’s no coloured screen nor MMS features yet, but this phone DANCES y’all!! like so hip ok. hehehehe
years of usage: 2 years kot, ‘02-’04
sentimental for: putting it in standing position and waiting for the dance to start before picking up a call.
reason for dumping: can’t really remember why. but rosak or something like itlah.

the SLIM samsung C-100
ohhh i love, love, lurrrrrrrrrrrrrve this phone! its so slim and at that time nobody else is using it so i always got “eh, model apa ni? smartnya! bestnya sound! wah ada light kelip! mana jumpa ni?” (made-up, sbb summarise hehe) and all the ooohs and the ahhhs lah 
but sekejap je pakai phone ni 
years of usage: 6 months kot in 2004
sentimental for: tersengih2 di depan phone membaca sms from someone hehehe
reason for dumping: not dumped, but stolen from my backpack at Sepang F1 Race 2004!

this is the exact look of my (late) phone. so comel kan? i lurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrve this one too. love it love it love it. bought it a week after i became phone-less. bought it at Kuantan Parade kerana takleh tunggu nak gi KL dah, sungguh down xde phone.
years of usage: 1 year, mid 2004-mid 2005
sentimental for: being the phone i was using when i started to get Hubster as one of my close friends
reason for dumping: fell in love with my sis’s handphone (which became my next phone)

the FLIP phone Sony Ericsson Z800i
yeah..smart kan, smart kannnn. it’s FAT but i sits firmly in my hands. perfect for clumsy being like yours truly but on MY phone, there are also Japanese Hiragana on the keypad, pasal this phone was brought back from Japan by my sis.
years of usage: less than a year jugak kot, mid 2005-early 2006
sentimental for: Hubster’s help in getting this phone unlocked, he was in charge of the whole unlocking effort 
at that time, we’re still friends.
reason for dumping: i fell head over heels with iPaq. it haunted my thoughts and my dreams (and my dialogues too)

iPaq..what more can i say? my FIRST PDAphone, bought at PC Fair 2006 in KL Convention Center. went there, drove from Marriott Putrajaya with my sis and went to PC Fair with Hubster, among other friends..then balik Kertih. i love this phone so much that i actually read the manuals for nights BEFORE i actually bought it! haha
years of usage: a year, mid 2006 – mid 2007
sentimental for: Hubster’s prank call when i was staying at Marriott about a delivery of this phone to my room, from someone unknown. HAHAHAHA funny nak mampos, coz i actually believed it! siap buat pengakuan helplessly puzzled dekat the hotel’s concierge (which actually was Hubster!). and also, this phone is sentimental because i love it so much yet having to use the stylus was actually something less convenient to me. so mcm benci dlm cinta. hehehe
reason for dumping: i actually lost this phone as i accidentally left it in the cab

the ULTRASLIM Samsung U-600
smart kan. hehe semua phone sendiri, mestila cakap smart ye tak. i still love this phone, wonder why i handed it down to my sis. it’s superslim, and the slide is so smooth. the keypads are sleek. satu je downside, the touch button is super sensitive, banyak kali tercall org tanpa sedar. oh ye, takde 3G. 3G was not really an in thing when it was released. i bought this phone in the first week it reaches Malaysia, the weekend when my iPaq was driven away That time, i felt that the iPaq tragedy was a blessing in disguise, since i dont have to use any stylus anymore.
years of usage: less than a year, mid 2007-early 2008
sentimental for: selalu cair guling2 after talking or receiving sms from Hubster and phone ni selalu berpeluh di dalam genggaman dekat telinga (zaman bergayut)
reason for dumping: getting a 3G phone so can videocall with Hubster when we are away (oh, terasa gedik)

the DEBOT Samsung G-800
a photographer’s choice…it says. it is, indeed. the 5.0 MB camera is awesome. also bought in the first week of release because the ad, of photographing a love shaped-mug handle is so alluring. kan tgh bercinta, mende2 sweet ni mmg can easily sweep me off my feet. terus beli. hehe,lagipun dia ada 3G!
years of usage: 1 yr ++ (early 2008 – june 2009)
sentimental for: sentimental is nothing when u have the sweetest thing with u. heheh
reason for dumping: screen rosak, disyaki kerana banyak kali sgt jatuh on hard surfaces.

Hubster's Motorola-RAZR-2-V9
phone ini adalah hasil ihsan Mr Hubster yang sudah berhijarah ke telefon baru. although it’s not a new unit, but i still loike because he bought this phone together with me, i was buying G-800 and was actually quite torn because his phone (this one) was much2 smarter and sleeker than mine was!!! so now, count myself lucky la kannnnnn
but, but, but, i still find myself thinking of a new phone. ya, yang baru release tu, i saw the ad in The Sun yesterday. demmit sungguh. tak perlu ok.
