Auntie in-laws are coming, which is perfect, since I felt like baking since the weekdays but since xde org nk makan, and I am supposed to be on diet too, so I psycho-ed myself not to. Now that we have guests, let’s put on the baker’s hat.
I am supposed to upload this recipe anyway, because sooner or later this piece of kertas ajaib will hilang (instinct, hehe) so here I am copying it so that I will remember, xyah nak rujuk2 kertas. ecehh.
Part I:
1. pour 1 cup of sugar into a medium pot. brown the sugar until it turns black (or black the sugar? heh)
2. pour 1 cup of water, little by little (otherwise dia caramelized jadi ketul2)
3. pour in 1 pack (250 g) of diced Buttercup, stir till fully dissolved, then padamkan api.
(amaran: sila guna periuk x mahal, sbb silap gaya stained!)
Part II:
Simply beat 1 1/2 cup of sugar +3 eggs+3/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence till ‘kembang’ (how do i put it in English? heh).
After that, pour in 1 tin of susu sejat (i used F&N) and stir.
Then pour in batter number I in. Kacau, kacau, kacau.
Part III:
Sift in 3 cups of flour + 3 sudu KFC of soda bicarbonate.
Kacau, kacau, kacau sampai puas hati.
Then sapu butter kat baking tin, i cant remember the size i used but see pic below, agak2la. not too besar so it will become thick
Part IV:
Set oven to 180C, preheat for 10mins (buat awal2 before letak tepung pun ok).
Bake at 180C for 1 hr 10 mins.
Pics dimasukkan later, after cake dah tinggal 1/4 hehe.
The verdict? Nicely done! Sumpah abang x tipu.
